I beat the crap out of these boots. I work construction. I have had them submerged in concrete numerous times. It has taken two years for the stitching to finally start going. And the soles are still sewed on just fine. Not the best boot for slippery surfaces. Once the tread is gone, they are as flat as dress shoes. I fell on the ice, slipped in mud, etc. But these boots are awesome. I paid 99 bucks back then.Arrived on time and they appear well built using decent quality leather. Pretty comfortable out of the box but some break-in will be required (I’ve found that boots that need break-in usually last longer).I ve done a lot of searching which boot to acquired and boondocker across with my searching.This boot's are a EEE width according Golden fox Web site. I order 1/2 size down from my sneakers size 10. Initially it a snug fit, after 3 days of break-in the shoes stretch to my liking.I ordered a fudge 2 color, however i had received the fudge. Anyway that no issue for me, the shoes became darker after the application of wax as shown in the photo.Hoping this will help to any out there looking for this type of boot's.Did not like they were made in chinaHad these boots for 6 months now and I have to say the longer you have them the more comfortable they become. Out the box just a bit stiff but after a day or two they mold to your foot. Can’t go back to regular sneakers after wearing these, there great! In the process of getting the black ones next??Awesome boots. High quality and great style. Worth the money. (Definitely not one of the cheap knock off brands). I bought a 2nd pair.Nicely styled suede boot with good support as part of the foot bed. The boots run about 1/2 size bigger than most of my boots--I normally wear 9 1/2 but that was too large. I returned it with no problems and purchased a size 9, which fits well. I believe they run narrow which, for me, is not a problem. Solid quality.These shoes have been a lovely addition to my life and have looked very good in many different outfits, 10/10 would buy again.These boots are fantastic for the money and I am pretty happy with the purchase, HOWEVER, they do not have crepe soles as advertised. Instead they have a more standard hard rubber sole with a molded crepe-like texture. They do not have the softness or spring of a true crepe sole. I don't know if that is dishonest marketing or just an error but it has marred an otherwise happy transaction.
