❤Important Tips:please identity your iphone models before purchase. Pls peel off the plastic protector film on the glass before use. Pls remove the screen protector if there is a screen protector on your phone, otherwise it will affect the gap between your phone's screen and case's . In this case, it may cause some problems, such as "The touch sensitivity doesn't work." "Magnet is not strong enough" or "phone not fit " and so on.
I purchased this as I had seen a ton of ads of how convenient this is. I think that it is a good idea, but it was not for me.Anti- peep was up to par! I would turn my phone and it looked almost as if my phone was off and I have a white background.I didn't have it for very long, so I don't know how durable it would have been, but the minute I put it on, I had a feeling that my phone would crack if I dropped it. This also just felt very cheaply made. When taking it out of the package, it had these random black sticky things on it, so I took them off and it turns out that those were holding the volume switches and the on/off switch. Because this case is so "thick" there were buttons that go over the phone's buttons for volume and on/off button, but there were not placed very well and I almost lost one of them when opening the package. The touch screen was so difficult to use because it was so thick. I was trying to press different apps, try to use the camera and it wouldn't open anything. I do have a thin screen protector on my front screen, so had I taken that off, the touch screen may have worked better. The color was in fact silver and the front and back cases were clear/ see-through as it previously said when ordering.I felt like my phone was in a clear bulky box and wasn't actually being helpful. I do not know how strong the magnets were, but from taking it on and off, it seemed like the minute I dropped my phone the case would pop off or break.I liked the idea of it, but I found it too bulky and not effective enough.Oh boy do I have a story for you. Now I had recently gotten a new iPhone 8, because my previous one was cracked and falling apart. So here I am with this brand spanking new uncracked phone and I needed a sturdy case. After shopping around a bit I landed on this one right here. The low price had me skeptical not gonna lie.Now first impressions this case is beautiful, its like it’s just one with the phone, privacy screen definitely a plus, and it fits like a glove, granted I had to take off my current screen protector for a proper fit. I was originally very concerned how well the case would withstand a drop being that it’s a magnetic seal, would it come off I have no idea.So after a fun beach day I’m laying on a hammock in my bikini six stories high on the fire escape of an NYC apartment using my phone when I drop it (I know) and praying that the headphones that are plugged into it and connected to me would hold their bond instead of plummeting down. Alas they did not.All I hear is my brand new phone with its brand new case thunk thunk thunking down six stories hitting every level fire escape on the way. I spot it down on the second floor, yes the case had come off after hitting the final floor and made its way down to the street level, I am not surprised but GUESS WHAT. It saved my phone. To my astonishment there were absolutely no cracks to my phone OR the case. Now I’ve awkwardly retrieved my phone in a bikini racing down the side of my building, but although I could see the case, front and back pieces both in an alley but one on the other side of a fence that allowed me zero access. So I debated jumping said fence to get the case but honestly, at only $17 I decided it was easier to order another one.So do I recommend this case? Yes, yes I do. Do I recommend using your phone on a fire escape, no not really but this case will do the trick, just don’t try it at home.So this case is good, it’s nice to have privacy screen and phone fits securely in it. Another similar model was to big and you could feel it jiggle. This one has real but delicate glass. I’ve gone through 3 of these so far. I like em and they do save my phone from being messed up when dropping phone from thigh height. The problem is, case is not durable, the outer metal part is good but not anodized. So rocks can ding and chip, the biggest problem is the glass, can’t take a hit at all. It’s better than the phone cracking , but if you’re like me and hate even the smallest crack in glass, you won’t like this. I do like em, they’re only $20 or so and keep phone safe.It was okay in the beginning, but then my screen became non responsive when I had it on. It’s a shame too because the actual privacy screen was very effective.Don’t waste your money it doesn’t last long i brought this about a week ago and it’s broken already ?This case blocks and weakens the phone signal. Will be returning. This is a good phone case, but I can’t charge my phone with the case on. I need to partially remove the phone from the case in order to charge it.Had received my case and it wasn’t as private as expected after messaging the seller they were nice enough to send me another case which was better, very satisfied with their customer service! My old case fell and cracked which was expected for glass but my phone didn’t come out of the case no issue with touch for either case even after the crack. This was perfect for our needs. Looking for something relatively inexpensive that we can move from one part of the house to another during building work. Plug in was essential and was really easy to install. Be aware that the lead isn't the longest though, before you cut any holes!I read other reviews so knew that I wasn't going to get full power from all 4 zones at once, but this has never really been an issue. Boils a kettle really quickly, gets a pan of veg going in no time and has plenty of power for the wok. Unless you try to do all three, full blast at once. Full power is ok on 2 zones, but then it'll start to spread the power out if you get greedy. The fan is a bit noisy for a while after cooking. If that is going to bother you, you might have to pay a bit more for something else. Personally I enjoy the surprise sense of peace I get when it stops halfway through dinner.I only put 4 stars for easy to clean because I have seen better glass surfaces. Not sure what it is about this one, but the finish across the glass never quite seems perfect. Hard to explain - a bit smeary. It doesn't affect the function though, and you can only tell if you look close up.If you're wondering whether to go induction or not - do it! You'll never look back. In my view, far easier and more controllable than even gas.Works nicely and as expected, using now with a 13A socket. Big bonus is that it can be reprogrammed to work at full power if connected to 32A cooker circuit. ( Need to change cable if doing this). Just what I needed with future kitchen upgrade in view. Supplier helpfull and responded quickly. Note the 1 year warranty is exchange, there are no repair facilities in UK, but at this price for 13A/32A device am willing to risk future problem.I can't rate this high enough. My gas hob broke and the gas was capped off. I needed a replacement hob without having to pay a fortune for fitting, and I needed something I could just plug into the existing plug hole the gas hob had used. This is great. It plugs straight into the wall. I bought a jigsaw at the same time to cut the existing hole a little larger so it would fit, and it slotted right in. Does a perfectly decent job.... I only tend to use 1 - 2 rings at a time anyway, so have no issue with the lower power. It kicks out a LOT of heat and level 9 is crazy hot :) I tend to simmer on 5, and it all works out well. Maybe one day I will have it hard wired, but honestly, its perfectly fine as it is. It looks great. I'm really happy with it.This induction hob was sold as a plug-in device; saving the cost of an electrician but limiting the power outputs available.Having cut a hole in the work surface and slotted the hob in as the instructions prescribed, I plugged it in to test it. It beeped once, the fans briefly started and then everything went blank. Pressing buttons did nothing. I left it for a few minutes in case it was running through some initial diagnostic but it just stayed off and unresponsive.Turn off and on again at the plug repeated the same results again - beep, fans, off!Somewhat disgruntled at having cut a whole in the work surface for a device that didn't work, I returned it to Amazon for a refund. My experience of induction hobs is that you seem to get what you pay for. I've had four single ring induction pads and three of them blew up - all were weird brand names I'd never heard of. The fourth one was a Tefal and it's been good for a few months.I have no doubts that if this GIONIEN hob had actually worked, it would have only done so for a month or two. The moral of the story - buy a known brand name from a bricks and mortar store. I love Amazon but I just don't think you're protected enough when buying these cheap Chinese imports.I bought it to replace our gas hob.It is a disaster. The instruction book, 22 pages of convoluted English, is very poorly laid out and difficult both to follow or in some cases, understand. On our model: GIT470SP, half the controls don't work and one reacted in a way not mentioned in their ghastly instruction book.Clearly we have been done.I wish sellers would indicate where these items are made.Eg Made in China. Now I know why the price was reduced.Amazon should be ashamed of themselves but we know they don't care.
